Beautiful Bonsai Tree Hanging Planter/ Jardiniere This beauty has just been 'unearthed' .. fresh to the market in gorgeous earth tones with an artful & central Flowering Bonsai Tree motif! It originally hung with either some tipe of chain or decorative rope. The pot was balanced with three holes; one side has two holes on either side, while the other has one in the middle. The pot measures just under 6 1/2" wide x 4 7/8" tall x 4 1/2" deep. It has a faint mark on the bottom: made in Japan, so we know its vintage. This has been used and has a beautiful patina. We see one small chip on the rim that blends in with the earthy brown paint that was used. There is a fracture on the underside of the pot as seen in the photo below. (ADDED 7/21:The chalky white residue pictured on the corner in one of the photos below has since cleaned off) We don't see any other damage. We are avid gardeners and we have seen many styles of planters & jardiniers. This one is very unusual and will make a super addition to your collection in your home or garden! Low Bid & No Reserve!
