For your consideration is PINK PEACOCKS, an elegant, extra large quilt measuring 56 1/2 inches in width and 73 1/2 inches in length. I used lots of my palest pink vintage chenille including soft pink MJ rosebuds and Hoffman daisies, light green CC chenilles, a few with pink flowers, and some gorgeous whites. To this chenille collection I added three squares of quilter's cotton in soft baby pink with peacocks! Could not resist adding them as they coordinate exactly, and peacocks certainly come to mind when one thinks of vintage chenille! These three peacock squares are colored so gently that one must look closely to see the pair of beautiful birds on each one. This very large quilt has a fluffy batting sewn into it, and the backing is one solid piece of white quilter's flannel. It has been handtied often with white embroidery thread. Such gentle, vintage pastels, so much texture.....you will LOVE how this looks and feels! It is very soft and comforting! PINK PEACOCKS has been freshly laundered, and is easy care for you using machine cool delicate cycles. As always, my quilts are heirloom quality, and finely crafted in a smoke/pet free home.
