Here is a vintage table top bronze (or possibly brass) bell that measures a little under 8.5 inches tall. At the top on both sides its embossed: CIVITAN INTERNATIONAL. This top handle is slightly leaning backward and I believe was made this way. On the bottom its embossed: RUSSELL-HAMPTON CO. CHICAGO, ILL. This company is still in business today and known for making fraternal group items. I believe this bell is at least 50 to 75 years old although I see no ringer anywhere. I'm not sure how this bell operated unless it was meant to be struck from the outside. It has no major problems and only has tarnish, a few tiny dings and some very light scratches. The bell would look great if polished but still displays well like it is. (Any bright white spots are just reflections from the light). No reserve!
