This is a Federal Visabeam # SL for use on 12 volt emergency vehicles. It has a little control panel that operates the lights & 30-40 feet of 11 strand wire to hook them up. The lights are both missing the lamps, I think they come in blue, red, amber or clear, and are standard bulbs. I hooked them up to 12 volt, and one light can be moved up , down, left and right (to use as a spot light) , but the other moves only left to right, so need s repairor one could be used as parts and just use one light. I could not get it to operate on auto for emergency flashing, but this system is prior to solid state and may have dirty contacts on one of the switches. One clear lens is prtty good shape the other is quite scratched. The chrome and stainless steel sould clean up nice if for a vintage vehicle. Unknow age model SL series A-1 12 volt. The lights are about 9 inches tall and 7 inches diameter at the bottom.
