Vintage Finished Embroidered Sampler Wall Hanging (unframed) "There's a lot of solid comfort in my dear old pipe..." I'm not sure but I think the words on the sampler might be words from a poem. 22" x 21 1/2" Embroidered with a shiney silky looking floss. The coloring inside the embroidered areas are dyed into the fabric. This piece looks real old. It's clean but there a a lot of stains on it. If you like sampler that shows it's age with spots and looks as old as it must be then this piece fits that description.
