Up for auction is this cute, vintage single speed GENERAL ELECTRIC 10" STYLE OSCILLATING FAN. It still has the tag on it and appears never to have been used. I've looked all over and can't find any signs of use or abuse. According to the lady of the estate mentioned below, it was bought for $15.95 on June 22, 1948. (She wrote this info on the tag) This is a beautiful two tone bronze and brown FAN with tilting capabilities. Yes it runs. I will give the estate the opening bid if it doesn't sell. It is an awesome blast from the past: 60 year old RETRO FAN. I'm helping clean-up an estate of a first generation Italian family. The husband was born in 1911 and his wife in 1917. Most of the lots that will come up for auction in the next few months came from the general store, that they both ran till 1962, or from the homestead that is still in the family. He was well known around this area, San Joaquin Valley in California, for his homemade Italian sausage and Mexican chorizo. If you like the lot, please come back from time to time to see what else I've put on the auction block from this unique estate. I try not to make money on shipping and handling costs. If I over-shoot the price, I'll either reimburse you via paypal or throw in the extra in your shipping box.
