I am selling this and many other items for a friend who is downsizing to an apartment.II am not sure of the exact age of this item but my freind believes her Aunt bought it in the 1950's. It is a Globe 24k Gold Vanity set consisting of 8 pieces including, a mirror, a comb, a brush, a hand towel holder,soap dish, Glass and holder, perfume bottle, and a gilt oval box (jewelry box??? this one I am not sure of its purpose) The label on the perfume bottle reads GLOBE 24KT GOLD PLATED GUARENTEED NONTARNISHABLE. The brush and comb are in beautiful condition and look as if they were hardly ever used. The perfume bottle has a glass dauber which from the research I have done had a tendency to break but this one is intact..
