Vintage (?) Large Brass Balance Scales, measuring 53cm across the arms. (Around 20 inches). They are in very good condition, though there does seem to be a slight imbalance one way, but the balancing could probably be sorted. They would make an unusual and impressive display item. There is no sign of a manufacturers name, but they do have 1736 written across, presumably as a reproduction of an earier manufactured item, as these do not look that old.
