This is a metal recumbent Newfoundland dog. It is quite heavy and solid and I am listing it as a paperweight because that is what I have used it for and it serves that purpose quite well. I don't know the metal content but almost has a pewter appearance. A magnet does not stick to it. The base measures 3 by 6 inches. There is felt on the bottom.
