This vintage postcard of Sage College for Women, Cornell University, Ithaca, N. Y., is from 1909 or so. This shows a college in its early years. The back has a truly wonderful message from Bob to Leo relating a little adventure of Bob's. This included a punctured tire in Richfield, a town near Ithaca in Upstate New York and coincidentally, I noticed today on a local map that this small town of Richfield was the birthplace of Rockefeller. Ithaca, Richfield, and Leo's town of Whitney Point are all in close proximity. This is a delightful card not only for the depiction of Sage College for Women, but for the local color handwritten on the back. The card is in good condition taking into account its 100 years of existence. I accept payment through Paypal, shipping cost is $2.50 and insurance is optional. Thanks for viewing.
