I don’t know what it does. It does have an eye piece. Telescopes. Has a cloth covered cord and a small tin marked Acme Lamps and has a little metal piece and 3 rubber tips. Measures 7 1/4†long. Main piece marked Wappler E. Co – a logo of a face. A patent date of march 24, 1903 and July 26, 1905. Made by Charles Lentz & Sonds. Marked American Systoscope Makers, NY – 6748. Mahogany box.
