This is a great Sears Homart window fan. It's extremely powerful - almost attic fan territory. The low speed is gentle and quiet with no motor whine. There are no vibrations when running this fan at either speed or in either direction. It has 2 speeds for each direction (it's electrically reversible.) I think it's from the 1950s but I can't say for sure.Overall condition is used but not abused. The pictures really speak for themselves. This fan has a built in timer as well - less common than the thermostat control you usually see. Also included is the original box, which is a little worse for wear. But it's overall still sturdy enough to carry the fan in it.I think the motor was made by Packard because it looks identical to my grandmother's fan of the same time period, which had a Packard sticker on the motor.
