Vintage Scissor Lot *** 4 Pair *** Offered here are 4 vintage pairs of scissors from an estate sale. 2 are Wiss, black handled pinking shears. The very large ones are 10+1/2" and it appears to me that the blades are removable. (maybe for sharpening) The other pair are 7+1/2".A new pair of Wiss 10+1/2" Pinkers retails for $69.95. Next is a pair from the Golden Age Company and they say 'Radiant Rustless'. They have a gold plating that's worn with inlaid stainless steel blades and measure 7+1/2". The last is a 5+1/2" pair buttonhole scissors from B S & Co. and they're dated PAT 1864. They are fitted with an adjustable screw that can be used to predertermine the exact length of a cut before using them to open a buttonhole. They have brown worn paint handles. All these shears might need sharpening but the points are in tact and they are tight. I bought a large box of sewing related items at this estate sale and will be offering them to you as time permits me, so stay tuned!
