This a must-have for anyone who is interested in fashion, photos of now-famous models, ideas and tastes from the 1980s. The issues are January/February, March/April, May/June and July/August. If you are a fashion or costume designer, these magazines are invaluable for researching fashion history from the era. Fashion designs from this era featured good construction and high quality fabrics to make these fashion ideas timeless. Suits, separates and elegant evening wear. Huge, colorful caftans contrasted with tiny, belted waists. Hoods and hats are featured throughout. Bright colors and soft fabrics. Scarves and belts are important details. The draping of the fabric seems very important in the photographs in these magazines. These magazines are not in perfect condition. The covers were exposed to sunlight and sea air so some are a bit faded. There are no tears or creases. As far as I can tell, the pages are complete. All bonus pattern pages seem to be intact. The cover of the January/February is the most affected by the salt air. It is faded in places - see photo form more informationSee the photographs for more information about what is in these issues.Thank you for your interest. We welcome your inquiries.
