Description:Vintage Westinghouse Copper Wire Carton Cardboard SHARP! Here's a rare find, an empty magnet wire carton from the Westinghouse Corporation. Lack of a Zip Code and the probable presence of a Postal Code in the return address date this somewhere between 1943 and 1966. Return label on top reads: "[From] Westinghouse Electric Corporation, 653 Pagd????, Springfield ??, Mass [To] Westinghouse Elec Corp, Copper Wire Dept, Buffalo, New York." About 13" high with 11" rim diameter. Has wire bail with wood handle. It's in excellent condition, especially for its age; the only real damage is on the wood handle, which has been chewed by some animal. It is quite clean. The cardboard has suffered no water damage, and the lid goes on and comes off easily.
