This is a very simple and plain white apron, very old, decorated only with the hand-stitched word "Mom". This stitching is actually placed so that it is behind the buttons when the apron is worn, almost like it's a label rather than a decoration. When the apron is worn, the "Mom" is not visible. The style of this apron is pretty interesting...the upper area is very narrow. I can't say for sure the age, but it dates back at least to the 1950s, possibly earlier. I believe it belonged to my Great-Grandmother, which could make it date closer to the 1920s or 30s. I didn't notice any fabric damage or thin spots. I also didn't see any obvious stains, so it's been well kept. Super Special on this item!
