Antique alphabet sampler dated 1907, stitched entirely in red yarn on an open weave background. Signed with the script initials "RY" or "RS". Sampler measures 11-1/2" x 14-1/2". There are two spots along the stitched edges where the yarn has broken (above the "J" and "K" along the top edge and to the left of the date along the bottom edge). The body of the stitching and the background are in excellent condition. NOTE: I never charge any handling or packing fees. No price gouging here! I try to weigh the item with its packing materials as accurately as my primitive scale allows, so the shipping costs I pass along to you are as close as possible to what the Post Office charges me. 75 cents of your shipping fee is for U.S. Delivery Confirmation.
