I also let you know what day I will be mailing your merchandise within the Feedback. It only makes sense to me that since you have upheld your portion of the transaction (paying in a timely manner) that it's now up to me to uphold mine. I am very confident that the merchandise I offer for sale is something that I would be proud to have in my own home. Rest assured that quality is of the utmost importance to me, also. I have always encouraged buying the insurance for anything breakable. However, at this time, I am having to deal with an item that has gotten lost in the mail. Had the insurance been purchased the buyer would have been able to put in a claim with the Post Office as I have the receipt showing that it was mailed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Please keep in mind that I'm more than happy to combine on shipping to save you money on shipping should you find another item you're interested in. Be sure to read my description carefully before placing a bid. I describe my items truthfully and honestly and am disappointed when a buyer sends a note saying, "I didn't know" when the information was clearly stated in my description. If there is something wrong, due to an error on my part, I am more than willing to correct the situation. You'll be glad to know that I attempt to get as close to the original shipping charge as possible by weighing each item and determining the best method of shipment for that item. You can be sure that I will NEVER "gouge" anyone with excessive shipping charges but will make sure that I cover all the shipping charges. I cannot and will not be held responsible for any damaged items in shipment if the INSURANCE was NOT PURCHASED. No matter how well the item is packaged, there are circumstances during transit that I have absolutely no control over. If there's chance that it can be BROKEN IN TRANSIT, I highly suggest that you add the insurance that is offered. It's a small price to pay to guarantee you receive it in one piece, OR getting a refund for your purchase that was possibly broken in transit. Unfortunately, there have been transactions where no insurance was purchased and the item was received broken. The buyer simply assumes that "it was not packaged securely" and threatens or gives "NEGATIVE" Feedback. This is when my giving Feedback on receipt of your payment comes back to bite me in the butt. Unfortunately.......I wind up with the BAD FEEDBACK in a situation I had no control over. That is the reason for the small number of NEGATIVE FEEDBACKs I've received. What to do??? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am more than happy to combine shipping and would be willing to hold off on shipping if you found another item in my auctions that you were interested in. Simply let me know that at the end of an auction you have won. I do have one request, however. PLEASE, I beg of you, DO NOT PLACE A BID UNLESS YOU ARE SURE THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THIS TRANSACTION IN A TIMELY MANNER. I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE THAT CONSIDERATION AS WOULD ANYONE WHO MAY HAVE BEEN OUTBID BY YOU. IT'S REALLY THE ONLY WAY TO GO. If you should decide to not complete this auction, I will have no other choice but to notify eBay that there is a problem with the transaction and let them handle it. This really creates a frustrating situation for both of us. .
