This auction is for a vintage Wedgwood 1917 Advertising Calendar. On one side is the 1917 monthly calendar that says: Jones, McDuffee & Stratton Co, Crockery, China & Glass Merchants, 33 Franklin St., Boston, U.S.A. There is a great website that describes these calendars more fully which is www.antiquecalendar.com. There are two minor nicks on this side of the calendar which are too small to measure but had to mention them. On the flip side, a brown sepia transfer which shows Section of United States Navy Yard, Boston. There is a small chip on the upper right corner which is less than 1/2 inch and in no way takes away from the beauty of this piece. These calendars were given away as gifts to good customers and were made between 1879-1929. On the side of this tile is Wedgwood, Etruria, England. There is also a small hole in the calendar which was made to hang on the wall. If you have any questions, please contact me. I answer all questions.
