WOLVERINE SERIES 1 TRADING CARD SET This is for a complete set of WOLVERINE SERIES 1 trading cards. The set consists of 50 cards in all (#1-#50) & was produced by Comic Images back in 1988. This is the very hard-to-find 1st series of WOLVERINE cards! It is complete & in MINT CONDITION. Comic Images' vintage card sets like this one from the late 1980s & early 1990s were made in very limited quantities when the then new company was just beginning to take a foothold on the non-sports card/comic card industry. This set, nearly 20 years old is a great example of what card sets used to be like "back in the day." No high gloss. No bells & whistles. Card backs are B&W puzzle piece images that when the cards are put together make up larger images. The card sets made today exist because of sets like this!
