When I look at them, I feel carried away into a different world, which is beautiful, simple, and very sentimental. I guess, people back then were not afraid to appear sweet, gentle, and silly, and sometimes a little naughty. It's not that we have really changed so much though, some one hundred years later, and that is why these wonderful images of the bygone era still speak to so many of us, filling our hearts with beauty and joy. Here are some of the best images from my collection. Many of my cards are from the early 1900's, and a few from the late 1800's, American and European. Some are real photographs of beautiful women, handsome men and sweet children, some are remarkable paintings by famous or unknown artists. Do all actual cards look so perfect in person? Many do, amazingly defying time and elements. Some suffered a bit, but using today's digital technology, I restored them, because there is no reason why they still could not bring us joy today. They are all absolutely wonderful to have around, either to be framed, collected, used in collages, or given as greeting cards to our loved ones.
