Condition: Good condition with some yellowing and chipping to the edges.  There are a few small tears.  Size/Pages: 17 x 12" / 12 pages   Up for auction is a wonderful vintage newspaper. It came from an estate I recently purchased, and is one of the many newspapers I will be selling. These range from presidential topics (assassinations, elections, scandals), to World Wars I and II, to space travel. The collector stored the papers well, and they are all in good to very good condition. See below for calculator to figure shipping via USPS Parcel Post. Please see my other auctions, as I combine shipping on most items, and definitely combine on newspapers. International shipping will cost more; please inquire.  Please read the additional terms of sale below. TERMS OF SALE PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING Buyers outside of the US should also read the International Terms of Sale below!   We are a selling team specializing in vintage and antique books, magazines and ephemera.  We have been selling on eBay since 1999, so you can be confident that if you choose to buy from us your transaction will flow smoothly from start to finish.   PAYMENTS:  For US buyers, we accept Paypal*, money orders, and personal checks.  For personal checks, we may choose to hold an item until payment clears (usually within 7 days); otherwise, we ship packages within 3 days of payment.  We appreciate payment in 10 days unless arrangements are made with us before bidding.  In cases where we receive no payment or response from a winner bidder after 15 days, we will file a NPB with eBay and relist the item.   *SPECIAL NOTE FOR THOSE WITH PAYPAL UNCONFIRMED ADDRESSES:  We will only accept paypal payments up to $50.00 for buyers with unconfirmed addresses.    Tax:  Sales Tax of 6% applied to all buyers in Indiana.    Shipping:   The buyer is responsible for all costs associated with shipping, and these costs are stated in the item description.  Typically, we send books via media mail, and other packages via parcel post or priority.  We ship through the United States Postal Service, and will ship by other means only when package size requires it. Delivery Confirmation with tracking is included in the price of shipping and is required.   We are happy to combine shipping on the vast majority of items that we sell, so please contact us if you are interested in multiple items.    Insurance:  For items that sell for more than $15.00, we require insurance which will be added to the invoice ($1.65 for first $50.00, $2.05 up to $100.00, $2.45 from $100.00 to $200.00, etc…).  We will not ship items valued at more than $15.00 without insurance, as it protects both the buyer and the seller in the case of loss or damage (which does occasionally happen).   For items valued at less that $15.00, insurance is optional and the responsibility of the buyer.  Optional insurance will appear as such on the eBay invoice.   Packaging: We are proud of our packaging services; check our feedback to see why!  We use only recycled materials in our packaging, which saves everyone $ and saves the Earth, too.  All items will be protected with plastic inside the package, in case they are exposed to rain or snow in transit.  Books and magazines will be fitted with unbendable cardboard protection.  Items are marked appropriately on the outside of the package, and you can expect to receive your item(s) undamaged under normal postal handling conditions.   Returns:  We guarantee that items are authentic, original, and as described.  We take care to describe all flaws and damage that we see.  We will gladly accept returns for items that were grossly misrepresented in the description and we will negotiate the terms of such returns.   International Payments and Shipping   Important Note:  USPS rates and services have changed as of May 14, 2007.  There is no longer ANY surface rate shipping to international addresses – AIR MAIL is the only shipping option available, and it can be costly, so please inquire before bidding!   Currently, we will sell to bidders located in Canada, anywhere in Europe, and to Australia.  Due to the risks involved in selling to other locations, we have limited our international sales at this time.   Payments:  International payments are accepted in US dollars $ ONLY!  Payments can be made by Paypal or International Money Order in US $.    Shipping:  Currently, I will only ship international packages via Air Mail Shipping, which often costs at least double the price quoted for American buyers.  Any book that weighs less than 4 pounds and can fit into a Global Priority Envelope will be sent via that method if the buyer resides in a country where that service is available (these cost 10.50 to Canada and 12.50 to other locations [prices subject to change according to USPS]).    Customs Forms:  Please note that we CAN NOT ALTER or falsify values on International Customs Forms, or identify items as gifts.   Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool.
