world war two newspaper collection all are from the Cleveland plain dealer with the exception of the two described below #2 and #9 - some are just front pages some are full newspapers. they are all very old notice picture for condition. Patton 90 mile from red lines, cuts Berlin off from south Reich. 4- April 20, 1945 - U.S. forces driving on Munich, soviets crack spree river line before Berlin. yanks gain 25 miles , reds reveal big push. 5- April 21, 1945 - Russians 7 miles from Berlin; yanks racing into south Reich; Russians make 38- mile lunge 6- April 30, 1945 - Yank troops seize Munich, Mussolini executed, body kicked by crowd. take famed beer hall where Hitler plotted to grab government 7-may 2nd 1945 - Germans report Hitler dies at command post in Berlin, Yanks take city of Hitler's birth; 14,000 Berlin fanatics quit.
