world war two newspaper collection     all are from the Cleveland plain dealer with the exception of the two described below #2 and #9  - some are just front pages some are full newspapers. they are all very old notice picture for condition. I have no idea where I got these and I don’t know anything about them. they are just old newspapers - shipping if free in the U.S. all others need to e-mail us       1- May 10, 1940 - Germans invade Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg, foes reject Chamberlin offer. allied help is asked, Dutch fight troops landing from sky   2- August 23 1944 - Akron beacon Journal -Yanks within 160 miles of Germany ; Paris falls - Pistol Packing Patton happy now   3- April 14, 1945- Truman invites congress help, Train bears F.D.R. home for funeral today, throngs line route north from Georgia. Patton 90 mile from red lines, cuts Berlin off from south Reich.   4- April 20, 1945 - U.S. forces driving on Munich, soviets crack spree river line before Berlin. yanks gain 25 miles , reds reveal big push.   5- April 21, 1945 - Russians 7 miles from Berlin; yanks racing into south Reich; Russians make 38- mile lunge   6- April 30, 1945 - Yank troops seize Munich, Mussolini executed, body kicked by crowd. take famed beer hall where Hitler plotted to grab government   7-may 2nd 1945 - Germans report Hitler dies at command post in Berlin, Yanks take city of Hitler's birth; 14,000 Berlin fanatics quit. Doenitz in broadcast takes helm, says he was fuehrer's choice   8- May 3, 1945 - Germans surrender Berlin; reds report Hitler suicide - 70,000 Nazis are taken prisoner as city falls   9- May 3 1945 -  Akron beacon Journal - Germans collapse in north, London hears Nazis negotiated from peace   10-august 15, 1945 - Labor, proud of war record, turns to domestic problems   11-September 8, 1945 - MacArthur raises flag over Tokyo in simply seven- minute ceremony- stars and strips fly atop ridge at embassy within Hirohito's view
