NAMED AND DATED 1945 (2 Items) The owner of this group served with the Gurkha Rifles Special jungle green material loose fitting combat blouse with four flap pockets The blouse also has special double button wrist closure and pleated rear for additional jungle comfort. Only found on WWII Officer’s clothing. As worn by British Officers during the Burma and Pacific Campaigns Complete with its original removable black composition buttons Original insignia as follows: Both shoulder straps have a full set of blackened brass rank insignia for a Full Captain The right arm has Officer’s style dark green lanyard. The group comes complete with the exact matching pair of Jungle Green Officers’ shorts, having button fly and correct WWII features. Just visible markings on both blouse and trousers including name and broad arrow over 1945. Both items are in very good, clean starched condition.
