You are bidding on a VICTORY Medal for the commemoration of the Invasion of Japan. On the front is a building with "ERNIE PYLE" on the to of the building. Above this is the word "VICTORY". On the reverse is the description "TO MEMORIES OF LANDING IN JAPEN 1947" under a depiction of Mount Fuji. The medal is a silver wash. The ribbon appears to be original. This is a unique item.
