The pattern is "M2" and resembles the axle of a covered wagon, i.e., cowboy or western style.The bottom of the cup has "Frankoma M2" in raised embossed lettering. Condition. These pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. They appear to have been rarely, if ever, used....an excellent set for one who appreciates functional and beautiful Frankoma midwestern and southwestern art pottery!... would also make a fine gift for the alumnus or alumna from the University of Oklahoma (where John Frank established the Ceramics Department), Oklahoma State University, Tulsa University, and the many other fine institutions of higher education in the state.
