This auction is for a Water Bosse Hagenauer Era brass deer figurine. This figurine looks dead like a Walter Bosse for Hertha Baller. It is marked on the bottom Taxco. I thought that I read somewhere that one of them, either Hagenauer or Bosse, left Bavaria and headed to Mexico..much like Spratling from the US..but I can not substantiate. It may just be a nicely cast deer done in the manner of. It has a black body and little bits of the brass poke through on the ears, eyes, nose, tail and feet. It measures an 1" long and stands 1 3/4" tall. Please make sure you check out our other Eames era modern items!
