This matchbook is from the Wedgewood Inn restaurant in Morristown, New Jersey. It is unusual in that the STRIKER IS ON THE BACK COVER. It is probably from the late 1950's or early 1960's (as are most of the matchbooks offered from us). Printed in on the front cover is a white letter W, surrounded by a round garland of leaves. The Wedgewood is printed where the striker would normally be on the front cover. Printed on the back cover is the same design as the front cover, but with the words: MONTCLAIR MORRISTOWN instead of The Wedgewood. The striker is unused and the tan matches have a white stripe near the red tips. There are no matches missing inside the matchbook. Printed in white on the lower spine is: MATCH CORP. OF AMERICA - CHICAGO. Printed inside the matchbook is: WEDGEWOOD INN 217 SOUTH ST. MORRISTOWN, N.J. Luncheon - Dinner Cocktails WEDGEWOOD CAFETERIA MONTCLAIR, N.J. Luncheon - Dinner 7 Days a Week. There is a slight crease in the lower front of the matchbook, as can be seen in the photo, but otherwise, it is in excellent condition. A photo of the back of matchbook is available by request.
