As an Electronic Engineer with many Western Electric vintage telephones in stock at all times, I am able to provide some of the finest restorations available.  First and foremost, as with all my phones, if after receiving this Western Electric Thermo-plastic 5302 telephone and you're not happy for any reason, even if it doesn't go with the wallpaper.....Return it within 30 days in original condition and I'll immediately refund all of your money including insurance and shipping both ways... no questions asked.  The extremely limited model 5302 restored desk set was truly unique in the lineage of Western Electric telephones. It was their only new product ever manufactured with 'old' parts...I'll explain.  When the Western Electric model 302 was replaced by the the more contemporary model 500 the demand was so great Western Electric couldn't keep up. The 302 was just phased out and Western Electric had a huge surplus of internal parts, dials and F-1 handsets...  So they took those leftover new 'old' parts, designed a thermo plastic case to put them in and thus the Western Electric 5302. This decision met several needs. It helped meet the overwhelming demand for the model 500 desk set because the 5302 and the model 500 looked very similar and it used up the surplus of model 302 parts. Compare this phone to the model 500 I have listed and you'll see the difference in the depth of each phone.   Once Western Electric met the production demand for the model 500 and 'old' 302 parts supply ran out the model 5302 run was over.  The earlier model 5302 came with the Bakelite F-1 handset which this phone has and also the very rare mechanical ringer adjustment. It was humble, but it worked. I've provided a picture.  The original 5-M dial is strong and dials smoothly and quickly. The original porcelain number plate is in excellent condition as is the genuine Western Electric handset coil cord.  The ringer, coil and capacitor dates all match..... If you've made it this far reading my copy you either have way too much time on your hands or you really like old phones like I do :-)  The Bakelite handset and body were hand buffed and polished and just sparkle. There are no cracks or chips in either.... The wall line cord is also original.  The entire phone has been disassembled, cleaned, inspected and carefully reassembled. Inside this phone are two individually tuned brass bells that harmonize perfectly delivery a nostalgic ring long since forgotten. You will not confuse a call on this phone.  This Western Electric 5302 is ready to go, just plug it in and step back in time before caller ID, voice mail and.... 'If you know your party's extension enter it now'....  I'll answer all emails. Buyer pays Priority Mail. I accept PayPal, money orders, checks held til clear. Thanks for looking.
