This shade could have been used for a kerosene, gas or an oil fixture...your call. The glass is very thin and rings beautifully when tapped. Top edge appears to be rolled over as is seen in early glass vessels. Diameter is 16 inches at its widest with a 1/8" variation around the perimeter..also a sign of its early vintage. It is just under 5 inches high and the top opening is 7-1/2 inches wide. Shade is in perfect condition...no chips or cracks or other issues, also showing some cullet and other slight imperfections in the glass as one would expect to find on early blown glass. I am selling this great shade with no reserve, buyer to pay actual shipping and insurance (I usually do not require insurance, but I am in this instance due to the fragility of this item).
