This is a wonderful vintage lamp from the 1950's. It was my grandmothers who traveled around the world three times. This lamp could have come from India or maybe Thialand. I am not sure if it is glass or crystal but it is gorgeous. The base, neck and finnel are all brass with alot of detail. It does have some tarnish areas and has its original petina. The glass/crystal body is in very good condition, no chips of cracks and is clean and clear. It shows alittle foggy from the flash of the camera, but it is completely clear. The design seems to be etched roses and leaves w/stems, with very detailed etching above and below. Unfortunately there is not a shade with it. Still has the original power cord and it does work, but I would highly recommend having it replaced due to it could be a fire hazzard. With alittle restoration, this lamp would be amazing and even more gorgeous. Buyer to pay shipping, insurance required. Happy Bidding!
