World War Two US Army Wool “Ike†Jacket Size 36s Dated 1944, Phila Qtr Depot Very Good to Excellent Condition No rips, tears, repairs or stains. All Original Buttons and Fasteners Lining including Sleeves in very good condition The Following Patches are sewn on: Civil Air Patrol Non-Combatant, Patches on each Collar and Left Sleeve (top) Ruptured Duck Patch Above Right Breast Pocket Service Strips (4) on left Sleeve (bottom), Designating 2 years Overseas Service, 1 strip for every 6 Months I can only guess about the Civil Air Patches, I am assuming that after overseas duty they went into the Civil Air Patrol. But this is just a guess. Very Clean Jacket and Patches. You don’t see this combination very often or the Civil Air Patrol almost never. It took me an hour of research to find a picture of one, and that was a drawing in a book. Feel free to correct me if I have misstated this patch.
