All items in this auction were purchased at a estate auction. The writer of this 4 page letter written to his mom describes the war as seen through his eyes. He writes that it is up to the enemy to surrender or be pushed into the sea and slaughtered. Writer writes of being able to see the enemy being bombbarded by artillery and bombs. Writer writes about his sadness of the news that Roosevelt has died. The writer appears to be so consumed by war and what he sees, it is about all he knows to talk about in this letter to his mom. The letter is very readable. I am assuming that the pictures in this auction which were purchased with this letter are connected to the young writer of the letter. The documents in this auction were with the pictures when purchased. I believe all in this auction to be related. Please observe the pictures being furnished.
