Postcards I sell on eBay are placed in 15 or 16 mil clear, side-loading, hard plastic holders to ensure protection during mailing. I mail the postcards in rigid cardboard photo/document mailers made of 100% recycled and recyclable paperboard. These items cost money. They also weigh more than normal #6 or #10 envelopes, so postage is more as well.
