This is a wonderful rabbit fetish that Zuni fetish carvers, Daisy and LaVies Natewa carved from orange alabaster and Picasso marble. The rabbits have ears carved along the sides of their heads and an adornment of a turquoise nugget and two pieces of red branch coral. The Picasso marble has inlaid jet eyes, the orange alabaster rabbit has inlaid turquoise eyes. The bottom of the fetish is signed with the initials of Daisy and LaVies. Rabbits are animals of conquering fear and safety. This piece is 1 3/8" long, 7/8" wide and 5/8" tall.
