Hi, welcome to Traditions Fiber Arts and Antiques. This old strand of venetian glass watermelon beads if from the fur trade era. The beads are yellow glass with green and brick red stripes. There are 45 beads on the strand and they are in good condition. The beads average 14 -15 mm in length and 8 mm in diameter. Old watermelon beads are getting harder to find.
