c. 1900 First Methodist Church, Columbus OH, NR (view larger picture) We are very pleased to offer a very early “private mailing card†invitaing newcomers tyo attend services at the First Methodist Episcopal Church of Columbus Ohio. The church still stands at Bryden Road and Eighteenth Street in the Old Town East section of Columbus. This card was never used, but we can date it by the preprinted date “190__†to the first decade of the 20th century, and probably early within that decade. We especially enjoyed the note about “Good Music Assured.†Measures about 3 ¾ by 5 ½ inches. Some age toning as shown.
