here is an unused 1909 - 1910 liquor license from ..."we the commissioners of the county of windham,connecticut",,,"whose names are here unto subscribed do license ---- who has been regularly licensed by the [liquor] commissioners of to use *** SELL AND EXCHANGE INTOXICATING LIQUORS*** "..., from the date hereof to the ...". this license comes from the yearly book of licenses for windham county connecticut. dimensions of this license is 17" wide x 14" high.the end stub is attached so add another 5" to the length to make it 17" x 19" in total. with a bit of good calligraphy you can personalize this license to fit your own home bar. purple print on fine cream color pastel backing paper, this is a real fine piece of liquor memorabilia to say the least. the scans below tell the story the best so check it out folks. . this is the only license from the 1909 we have. this one is in excellent shape.with no damage on the license as you can see below. after framing this piece will display real nice. and wonderful even if you don't frame it.
