Player's Airman Cigarettes bordered crate end panel dating from c1930s Panel measures 14.5" wide x 16.75" high Condition of the item is good for the age, with some minor marking to the front of the tray and moisture staining to the lower left corner of the rear. Front of the panel bears the text"Above All"above the Player's Airman Cigarettes logo.Red and blue printing remains vibrant and clear.It is bordered with a pine frame which is solid and intact with the tray base. Rear bears the Player's Navy Cut logo above the text"THIS CASE IS THE PROPERTY OFJOHN PLAYER & SONS, NOTTINGHAMBRANCH OF THE IMPERIAL TOBACCO CO.(OF GREAT BRITAIN & IRELAND). LTD.IT MUST BE RETAINED FOR COLLECTIONBY THE RETURNED MATERIAL DEPT." There is the usual rust staining around the staples affixing the border.
