Hi This item is small ceramic hippo shaped planter marked made in japan. It is 8 inches long and 3 1/2 inches high. In good shape no cracks or chips but the is one small stain on the back of the edge where somebody must have actually kept a plant in it. As is my custom I don't try to clean things but keep them as I find them.
