This piece is simply beautiful. A card I found with it states: Buffalo Hunter The Buffalo Hunter, spitting a bullet into a gun, is a wonderful example of Remington's romantic characteriztions of the old west. It is based on an original illustraction done in 1892 by Frederic Remington for Francis Parkman's classic "The Oregon Trail." Artist: Anne McGrory Design No. 7381 (MetalArt) Edition 750 Height 6" 1993 The Lance Corporation Number 112 750 is on the side and a gold seal is along side of it. It truely looks like this is resting on a marble slab Check out the indians coloring outfit and his head band The horse is bronze looking. Now the "problem" with this piece is my grandson got ahold of it and broke off the rifle, which also had the Indians hands wrapped around it, that the indian was spitting into....some could say that would ruin this but for any collector you know you can have it repaired. This is a heavy piece and on the bottom is written "Buffalo Hunter Inspired by Frederick Remington 1993 Chilmark Metal Art USA I am giving a price when referring to another MetalArt Piece(item 230017230535-ChilMark Metal Art) I saw on ebay to show what it was going for but also realizing it isn't damaged...like this piece...also again I say this piece is resting on a piece of marble-green? Make me an offer I prefer paypal. I will be also showing auctions on other pieces my grandson got ahold of, OH Boy them kids, lol
