The best thing about using priority mail is that USPS provides the boxes for free. The actual postage cost of priority mail to all U.S. locations is $4.75 for packages weighing less than one pound. I charge a flat $5, so my handling charge for priority mail is only 25 cents. The other cool thing about priority mail is that you can track your package online, and delivery confirmation is free for me because I print the postage at home. Just to clarify: $5 is my standard flat charge for priority mail packages weighing less than 2 pounds. If I sell an item that is heavier (which is rare for me) the cost may be a few dollars more.HANDLING CHARGES (the "H" in S&H) -- Let me reiterate ...
