The items for auction are two vintage, hand-carved and hand-painted wooden bottle stoppers hailing from Europe. The Fiddling stopper plays a violin or fiddle and with a pull cord from his back, tilts his head and moves his bow. He measures 6" from the top of his head to the bottom of his cork. He was made in Italy and his hand-carved face reflects a pug nose, rosy cheeks, and a small smile. The German Drinker holds a beer mug and the stick in his back moves the mug up to his mouth, which opens to imbibe his spirits. This German-crafted cork is more finely carved with more definition to his face than his fellow traveller. He measures 5". Thanks for Looking! I have other corks/stoppers and wooden carved items up for auction. Take a gander... Your browser does not support JavaScript.
