A 1/6 plate 2.75x3.25 daguerreotype which has a worn leather case which is separated and missing a bottom piece and features a nice velvet lining. It appears to be an American dag. The dag appears to be sealed. The image itself depicts a distinguished man in very fine clothes wearing a bowtie and in formal clothing.
