VINTAGE POSTER FROM BIG JOHN STRONG CIRCUS 14" X 18.5" EXCELLENT CONDITION...PRINTED BY ENQUIRE PRINTING CO. CINCINNATI OHIO BRILLIANT COLORS ON CARDBOARD....NO STAINS OR DISCOLORATIONS WAS FOR A CIRCUS PERFORMANCE HERE IN THE TOWN WHERE I LIVE...PARADISE, CALIFORNIA DATED FOR A SHOW ON MAY 7TH BUT NO YEAR LISTED...MUST BE AT LEAST 30 YEARS OLD. I CHECKED WITH THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO SEE IF THEY HAD ANY RECORDS RELATING TO IT BUT THEY DID NOT. IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE THERE WAS A VACANT FIELD AT THAT CORNER...OR AT LEAST A FIELD LARGE ENOUGH FOR A TRAVELING CIRCUS. SINCE POSTING THIS AD...IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY A MEMBER OF THE BIG JOHN STRONG CIRCUS THAT THEY WERE IN PARADISE IN 1979....AND ONE OF THE CIRCUS FAMILY WAS MARRIED WHILE THEY WERE HERE. When researching this poster I found a lot of interesting information about the Big John Strong Circus on the internet.....very interesting to see that the circus still has such a following. At this time I DO NOT accept Paypal. But will take a personal check for items up to $25.00. Over that amount a money order or cashiers check will be accepted. If there is no other way, I will accept a personal check for larger amounts, but that will delay the shipping of the item as I ALWAYS wait for the check to clear your bank. This could take 10days/2 weeks. At this time I am shipping to the United States only. I ship Priority Mail(except for media/books) and do add a small handling charge.
