dead stock= new old stock, from the early 90's made by a "another label " of alpha in usa.called knoxville armory apparel, probably made in same factory in knoxville tennesse as alpha. made for fashion to sell in shops, color is black. this is not an issued by us army jacket, it is a jacket made by a government contractor, alpha, to specifications of the issued as per size, and look.2 top flap pockets and 2 bottom flap pockets on the front.all close with a snap. arm pit to arm pit is 26" back of neck to bottom of jacket is 33"main zipper is a heavy duty ,as army teeth ,brass ykk , there is some oxidation on the zipper, have opened and closed several times it is fine. fabric is 65% poly and 35% cotton. great item great starting price, can not get these made in usa anymore.,you can get these made in china or korea, mynamar aka burma, for 2-3x the starting price.
