brand new in the case, never been used, according to zippo reference sight and using a magnifying glass that i hope helped me see this, there is an l on the left and lll on the right.then this should be from 1987. on the bottom states made in usa, directions and lifetime guarantee papers(between you and zippo, i suppose they would honor but do not know) retail 20 years ago was $11.95 add inflation, made in usa, great starting price!! this is a slim model #1629, and is on the top 1.25" wide and 2.4" high. of course is an original zippo lighter, but is not gi issued. will be properly sent with bubble wrap. color is hard to discern from picture without getting too close with a flash in the way it is a medium "battle ship" type grey
