We found this set of 3 vintage smudge pots in the bottom of a box we got at an auction. They are the kind used as road flares before the more modern road markers, and now make wonderfully nostalgic yard lights. They can be filled with citronella oil and burned to keep away mosquitoes. Unlike others we have seen advertised,we cannot find any identifying marks on these pots. They have obviously been used as there is considerable rust around the tops that would have come from burning them. However, each is fitted with a new wick and they are totally clean,dry, and odor free. There were originally 4 and we decided to keep one and sell the other 3, and it is the one we kept that we lit for the photo, to show what it looks like bunring. So, the ones we are selling have not had fuel in them for some time so as to be safe for mailing. Except for the rust, these pots are in good condition with no dents, and each has an attached cover. I prefer payment by Paypal but will accept a money order or check but must delay shipping until your check clears. If you pay by Paypal I can get your purchase in the mail within 24 hours. I heartily urge you to buy postal insurance as I cannot be responsible if your package should be lost in the mail. I will package it very carefully.
